A 27-year-old male presents with painless enlargement
of his cervical lymph nodes. He also complains of fever, night sweats and loss
A lymph node biopsy is performed and this reveals a
background of lymphocytes, plasma cells, histiocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils
and fibroblasts. Scattered within this background infiltrate are a number of
large cells with two large nuclei with prominent nucleoli.
