A 42 year old male lifted a heavy object and felt severe pain in his right arm. He presents the next day with continuing pain. On examination you note a rounded swelling in the middle of his upper arm, anterior aspect. Further examination reveals failure to flex his elbow and failure to supinate the forearm

The most likely diagnosis is:

a)      Bursitis

b)      Rotator cuff syndrome

c)      Bicipital tendonitis

d)     Haematoma

e)      Ruptured biceps tendon
